What an evening of the 27th January turned out to be. The Greenfield social clubs Red Lounge was packed with club members, friends and Billys family to raise money for the Prince and Princess of Wales hospice in Glasgow, where Billy had been looked after.The genourosity of local and national companies aswell as members contributions to the huge amount of raffle and auction prizes was outstanding.The evenings entertainment from the band "22 Miles", of which the clubs Glenn Watson is one of its guitarists, was superb, with a great selection of tunes!The event has raised £4000 for hospice funds, this includes 3x £500.00 cheques from various local companies who when approached were only too happy to help this cause, thank you them all and everyone who bought raffle tickets, bid on the auction items, or donated money, it will all be appreciated.thanks to all again.David.This post was last edited by david, Saturday 3rd of February 2018, 14:08.
