Hopetoun House & Wing and Wheels

The Hopetoun House event was new for us, the 1st running of the South Queensferry Rotary club Hopetoun House classic car show. Set in the front grounds of the stately home, it was a great backdrop for the 6 HC cars, not a lot of trade or autojumble, hopefully that will increase in years to come.pictures from here are now on the photos sectionWings and Wheels at the Scottish Museum of Flight is a long standing show, reasonable turnout of cars although our 3 members felt having the 2 shows, both on the East coast affected attendance, although plenty to see and do with the opening up of more of the hangers that display all manner of aircraft aswell as the ajoining carboot sale.Stewart has loaded plenty of pictures from here on to the club Facebook page. The club has attended 23 different shows this season thoughout the country, not bad for a wee club.Thats the last of the main shows for this season, only 1 small 1 in October, but please keep an eye on the "club meeting dates" and PLEASE feel free to pop along and say hello, if you have any questions or just want an insight into classic cars. This post was last edited by david, Monday 25th of September 2017, 19:30.This post was last edited by david, Monday 25th of September 2017, 19:40.This post was last edited by david, Saturday 14th of October 2017, 19:01.
