Riverside museum

The club were invited to attend the inaugrual show at Glasgows new Transport museum the "Riverside" which only opened last month! With a real scorcher weather wise we headed along th M8, but fuel problems hit Kennys Fiesta and he had to await a tow to the garage! The only rule we had been asked to comply was as we were parking on white granite flagstones was to provide drip trays, luckily none of our guys cars misbehaved although others arrived already peeing fluids all over the carpark.... oops!! Around 110 vehicles were on diplay from early vintage cars to a display of military vehicles of all sizes seemed to go down well with the huge crowds who had come to the museum. The inside layout of the Riverside is getting mixed reviews when you listen to visitors, the biggest gripe is the fact a lot of the cars are on rows on a wall so viewing is not good! but overall there is a lot to see and do (its very interactive), hopefuly the council will make this an annual event, we all enjoyed it!see the pics of the day in the gallery.
